Hop a taxi for a twelve minute ride into Coronado for $5 where you'll find cafes, high end restaurants, 4 grocery stores, banks, drugstores, clothing stores, personal services, spas and even great medical care.  Or rent a car for the day,  have it delivered to your lobby and drive to any of the fabulous shopping malls 40 minutes east on the highway. 

Lots of great nightlife is close at hand in the neighbouring resorts and in Coronado where you will often find a live band playing.
